West End Retrievers offers an Obedience Dog Training Program for all dogs over 20 pounds that is tailored to the individual needs of the owner and their dog.  This beginner obedience class will teach the foundation skills needed for everyday life:  sit, stay, come when called, and walking on a loose leash.

The Advanced beginner class will continue to develop and reinforce the skills learned in the beginner class so your dog becomes more reliable when faced with distractions.  This class will also teach off leash walking.

It is important to train you as it is to train your dog.  Your success is dependent upon your ability to reinforce and maintain the training after your dog is home.  This is accomplished through a couple scheduled training sessions with West End Retrievers.

The key to a great dog is a solid foundation of obedience. Our goal is to develop a well behaved family dog who is a joy to live with!
